Our blue & gold macaw, BeeGee, who has been with us a little over 2 years. She was adopted from a rescue near Philadelphia, after being confiscated in a drug raid on a crack house. She is a gentle, trusting soul, but still flinches if we move our hands too quickly around her head. Someone hit her sometime in her past
