Well, I was traveling solo! Besides, it was so hot, I was a tomato face most of the time -- too pretty huh? Here are a couple shots from the only time I let someone else take my pix. Snap on a giant p*nis rock.

    Nice pictures

Nice pictures of you, Snap. You are braver than I am. When we were in Moloka'i I was careful to stay out of touching distance from that rock! At my age I sure don't need anymore children filling up our empty nest! Did you take the mule ride down to the leper colony? That's on my to do list next time around. I can't imagin biking up Haleakala. Driving that road was hard enough for me! The groups that were riding down the mountian looked like they were having fun though.

Ohhhh... Mauiiii... one of my favorite places in the world! I have been 3 times and to Kauaii once and Oahu once as well...

I seem to spend most of my time now facedown in the water... I am a snorkeling fool... did you snorkel at all? Right of Kaanapali there is Old Airport Beach which has great snorkeling and if you walk back towards Lahaina, there's the Sheraton Hotel... off that beach is an area called Black Rock... you swim out and there's an inlet at the end where you can snorkel with the Sea turtles... I LOVE that!!!

I've not done Moloka'i before... will have to put that on my to-do list... but did a trip out to snorkel the caldera Molokini... pretty neat.

Did you make it to the top of Haleakala? It's like the moon up there...

I also love Hana and have spent lots of time swimming in the 7 sacred pools... I love it that you can swim behind the waterfalls and sit behind that curtain of water... too, too fun!!

I'm with ya on the old cemetary thing... pretty fascinating when you see gravestones that are over 100 yrs old... always makes me wonder what life in the area was like then...

LOL at that phallic rock... let us know when you're due...
thanks for sharing your trip... every pic made me smile...
