I too live in Atlanta and it looks like we are in for another week of rain. I think it is time for me to buy a trainer. Any recommendations?

Looks like it's headed our way (DC metro area), unfortunately. We've had a lot of rain this year (or it seems like it).

Ah, it's finally raining here now. We've desperately needed it.

Extra bonus points to the universe for raining now instead of on my tough ride yesterday. And hopefully it'll be out of its system in time for my even tougher ride next weekend.

    I have a CycleOps trainer: http://www.performancebike.com/bikes..._400006_400006

I suppose there are others, and probably some cheaper, but I don't know if they are all "good" or not. I like the CycleOps because it works with my Garmin - I can pick up my power tap, cadence, etc. on the trainer. I'm not sure they all do that or if you need it to.

I think the best on the market is the Kurt Kinetic Pro Trainer, but you can't go wrong with any of the other models.

    A week of rain? Pffft!
We had 7 weeks of almost solid rain earlier this summer. Talk about the lost summer of biking.
