I recently got my dream bike -- a Colnago Master X-light. A lightweight steel beauty!

Custom fitted Waterford RS-33 with Campy Chorus painted mid-life crisis magenta....oh wait, I have one of those
Lovely machine. Worth every penny. Nothing like a custom fit go-fast bike even if you don't go fast to bring out the kid in you.
Best present I ever bought myself....well, except maybe for its little sister, a RS-14 Waterford with S&S couplers--pure decadence to have a nice fitting bike while on vacation. Guess mid-life crisis hit twice![]()
Me, too!
Custom Spectrum Super Ti a couple years ago.
Last year was a custom powdercoated Titus Motolite to match the pink rims I scored on ebay a couple years back.
My garage is filled with wonderful bikes. Now, if I could just get hubby to get his Co-motion built so I could get my Soma on the stand and built.![]()
Frends know gud humors when dey is hear it. ~ Da Crockydiles of ZZE.
Most days in life don't stand out, But life's about those days that will...
I've got a few I'd like to have:
Calfee Custom Bamboo
Serotta Custom Meivici
http://www.serotta.com/meivici_ae/index.html#
Vanilla Custom Steel
And of course Custom Ti to round out the materials (not sure on the builder for that though).
AND THEN there's the non-roadies:
Waltworks Custom Steel Mountain (yes, I'd probably go single and rigid or I might have him make me a cross bike)
And then there's the ones I own:
Wilier Izoard (not mine in image)
Yeti ASR

I would have to go with a custom Seven Diamas; all carbon and chock full of high end components.
Custom painted, of course.

I don't know a lot of bikes. I don't know most of what you have here. I don't have a lot of mechanical or understanding of bikes (what is best, etc).
But I drool (yes I do drool) over the Pinarello's. (had to even look up the spelling--what a loser I am!)
Not sure I could get one to fit me (at 4' 10") so a custom one would make may heart sing!

All high end bikes are sooo good. How could we choose?
Paint scheme? love the paint scheme, design and color on Colnago for production bike. for a custom pain job I would love to have my bike painted in pearlescent white fading to parlescent red or pearlescent pastel light blue. I'm fond of sparkly paint job. Not too much just a tiny bit.
Frame material: I'm still partial to Ti frame just because... I really loved my Litespeed. And steel. I'm not really sold on carbon.
My dream bike?? Tire that is super grippy and never wearout. Chain that never falls off or snap. A shifter that is quick responsive and run forever. Self cleaning would be nice too. A bike that will maintain and clean itself.![]()
