Me too! Especially when I see a special bicycle--an odd one, a beautiful one, a sad looking one. . .does that make sense? Other times it just pops into my head.

One of my all-time favorite jerseys.

I also thought it would be fun to try to re-create the cover of the album for my boyfriend as a pinup. Some red panties, a cycling cap, and the old '74 roadbike... and not much else. Someday I'll be brave enough to do this!

    nothin

Umm gnat..in order to recreate the bike scene at Wembley in Bicycle Race you have to go completely nude. In the Magic Years doco series they had the producer tell the story of the naked models & that the bike company had to replace all the seats after the video...Ratty & the rest of the crew enjoyed it though

I'm surprised many of you in the US like the video as there's nudity in it..

    american

Isn't it true that most Americans don't like nudity?

I think most Canadians would remember Rick Mercer on "This hour has 22 minutes" & " Talking to Americans"....

No, I don't think so. That's a rather broad brush to paint us all with.

    Not to affend anyone:

The sensors here in the U.S., (the FCC) are the people who govern our videos, etc, the obviously don't like nudity. Many equate nudity to meaning sex and it does. I as an American, love nudity, not that I'm a nudist. The human body is the human body. However I do think (not to offend anyone) that the bible belt ultra religious right seem to get thier views heard by everyone more than those of us who just want to live our livies with our without clothes.

It is also seems that the FCC allows murder, mayhem and violence to be seen by all but can't let go of their cloistered views of the human body.

Also sometimes we do unintentionally categorize a group of people, by what we seem to hear or see the most, but we all know that isn't the way everyone of that country, race, city or gender is, don't we?

Bicycle race is also my phone ring.
Queen was my most favorite band while I was in highschool
My mother didn't like the band, but loved the music.

I really, really, really wanted to ride today, but it's raining. I love to ride in a gentle misty rain but we're having a bit more than that today. So the song plays on in my head!

I want to ride my bicycle...

Conveniently, it usually coincides with times when I have a strong desire to go on a ride
