I heard it was really tough with all the little neighborhood hills. I might be glad I had to work instead of riding.![]()
For 3 days, I get to part of a thousand other journeys.
Some of the hills were intense... especially the Mountain Park hill. I thought it was a beautiful ride though.

Great pic! Notice all the brake lights as people going the other way, say "What the?"

Great job to all who rode! Sounds like a tough century

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
Cycle! It's Good for the Wattle; it's good for the can!
Nope! I had planned on doing it until my riding buddies told me wheels down was at 6:30amHeck no!! I loove my pillow way more and I'm sooooo glad that I did. That ride had only 3.75 miles on the GA 400, the rest was through the normal sneaky hilly neighborhoods of Atlanta-even some tough elite triathletes begged off at the 30 mile mark.
Funny- I haven't heard back from my Columbian riding buddies waxing on and on about an awesome ride with "rolling" hills. Hmmm...time to reach out and text someone.![]()
Heh! Heh!It was totally painful from most accounts. I wonder what the turnout will be next year. You gotta be a glutton for punishment to:
1. Wake up around 4:30-5:00 am to be ready for this ride.
2. Realize Starbucks doesn't open till after you're well into your ride on Sunday morning and you're stuck in the burbs versus some "cute City of--"
3. Fight all the Baptists (myself included) wondering why in all the name that's Holy you won't get out of their way..It's Sunday why aren't they in church.I made sure I prayed for the safety of all though.

Mile after mile after mile of "rolling" hills just underscored the fact that I probably won't be buying the "She Loves Hills" TE jersey(even though it is bee-utiful). My legs are still sooo sore!
