Did anyone ride the Hospitality Highway Century yesterday in Atlanta GA?

Oh yeah, that was one tough ride. I thought I was never going to make it up that Mountain Park Hill
That was one of the few times I've ever had to hoof it up. At least I wasn't alone, so that makes me feel a little better. So much fun to ride on Ga 400, however!
There are a few pictures on AJC.com. The local NBC news affiliate also had a short blurb.

I heard it was really tough with all the little neighborhood hills. I might be glad I had to work instead of riding.

Some of the hills were intense... especially the Mountain Park hill. I thought it was a beautiful ride though.

Heh! Heh! It was totally painful from most accounts. I wonder what the turnout will be next year. You gotta be a glutton for punishment to:
1. Wake up around 4:30-5:00 am to be ready for this ride.
2. Realize Starbucks doesn't open till after you're well into your ride on Sunday morning and you're stuck in the burbs versus some "cute City of--"
3. Fight all the Baptists (myself included) wondering why in all the name that's Holy you won't get out of their way..It's Sunday why aren't they in church. I made sure I prayed for the safety of all though.
