A farm along our route the other night had not one but TWO newbies out in the yard. I'd talked to their human mommy a few days after baby on the left came along, and knew that they were expecting the second any day. I'm amazed at how much baby number one has grown in a week! I rode past them again tonight, and the wee guy was still cute, and the bigger one was still lovely -- just looks so much more finished already!

And off another direction, there was this fantastic mailbox...

    hill?

    I thought Oklahoma was hilly?

I will take some photos on my next dirt ride as it's much safer than trying to stop on parts of the bike paths here in Perth

Parts of Oklahoma are quite hilly (mostly the eastern part of the state). It's pretty flat right in the middle where I live.

And yes, I would LOVE to see some pictures of Perth. One day I'll make it to Australia... one day.

    today

I decided that on my ride this afternoon that i'd take some pics. A meander was kind of nice!(Trekhawk & I sort of did this ride last week) It was REALLY windy near the coast but no rain!

Sorry if the photos are a bit big!

First pic-view of perth from Matilda Bay
Second-Cottesloe Beach & man was there a gale!
Third-One of many statues around the city, this one's quite famous for people putting clothing or signs on it if it's someone's birthday etc.
    Last-The Blue Shed..I think that's the name?

Not sure if these will show up. I grabbed them from my facebook. If they don't show up you're missing Beanfield, Cornfield, and Happy Little Clouds.

6am rides in East Central IL are really really peaceful!

    hmm

Sundial-it's just a bit brisk, not cold. The lows for this "winter" have been to 2C, not cold at all! THen again, I wear shorts when it's 2C outside. The weather on my ride was really unpredictable & thought the yellow jacket would be a good idea. Turned out I only needed it in a few parts where there were pockets of rain & wind. Perth weather is annoying...

I have no idea who the statue is dedicated to...I'll ask some folks & let ya know.

Jillm-do you ever see any grain elevators? I love grain elevators.
