I think many of them are smart enough to say that there are noticeable patterns in life, and it's not necessarily up to us to understand them or be able to explain them, and to just accept things as they are. My daughter-in-law's midwife recently predicted the date and time of her impending birth, and whether her older son would be awake or asleep, and she even determined his weight, and it was all true in the end. Don't discount intuition.

That said, the full moon is very bright and it MUST disrupt our circadian rhythm in some way, maybe affecting some people more than others. I just spent this whole weekend in the woods next to a pristine national river, and I'm sure my soul was soothed by the whole environment.

you thought i was making fun of midwives? i guess it looks like i was, but i wasn't. i was just repeating midwives for reference and then making a joke about the moon pulling babies out. doctors and nurses probably make the same observation.
