Dar- I'm so sorry! What a bummer for you.
But I sense your energy and creative thinking will help you turn this into a good change.

BIG HUGE HUGS!!
So sorry to hear this Dar, I've been looking on and off, but here in the Phoenix area we have been hit hard. It's just ugly out there right now. BUT you have some skills there ma'am, so there is something out there for you.
Lise- Give John my best! So glad to hear that you are going on with the wedding. I knew you would end up getting married. I'm SO happy for you!!!
Keep your heads up all, it WILL get better!!
Denise

Don't take this personally. This is not your fault and it's nothing to be ashamed of. It is really scary out there now.

What a raw deal.
You'll get through it - I can sense your determination and creativity. Imagination is 90% of what it takes to weather any crisis, and it's plain you have that in abundance.

((Dar)) That sucks and a crappy way for them to handle it but your attitude is admirable. On the bright side you will be home and can maybe provide some positive comforting to your son to help him get a little more adjusted? I don't have any advice on your job search but try to keep upbeat. A positive attitude can only help!

Oh Dar, that really stinks. I know how happy you were to be able to work out of your home. Selling your house and moving to a new city was a huge decision for you. At least now you're in a bigger town that may provide a few more opportunities for you.
This may call for a meet-up for margarita therapy and a nice long ride.
Dar- I am sorry to hear of your terrible news. Whith your skill set something has to be there for you.
Congrats Lisa on getting married! There is never a bad time for that.
I have been out of work now for almost a year. My husband and I have started our own Landscaping business. We have two clients and have been doing the word of mouth advertizing method. My husband was able to go back to work for the City on a part time basis, so that will help. I keep looking for work but no bites yet.

So sorry to hear this. How frustrating to have this happen again in such a short period of time. You appear to have a ton of marketable skills and hopefully you'll find something worthy of your time/talents soon.
You will land on you feet! Reading your skills, you are well-rounded and could do a lot of things. Remember that the confident people get the jobs, so don't even THINK about being a loser.

I have a girlfriend who did this while she looked for work and it helped her to stretch her money longer. Your own hours. She gets paid for going to the movies, purchasing/returning merchandise, etc.
Beware - do not look at any offers where they ask you for money. The jobs my friend takes do not require her to put out any of her own money.
Just a thought.....
