What do you have planned for the holiday weekend?

What's everyone have planned for this Memorial Weekend? Here in Michigan its suppose to be nice - mid-70's, slight chance(30%) of rain on Saturday. We're planting flowers and vegetables - bought 2 1/2 flats of annuals, a few perennials, a flat of veggies(tomatoes x2, zuchinni, cucumbersx2, melonsx2, brussel sprouts, green peppers, lettuce). Plus we're going tomorrow night and getting some flower seeds. And of course, some bike(bicycle and motorcycle) riding. I have to work tomorrow + on call tomorrow night. Everyone have a happy and safe weekend.

Dinner in Boston and the last play in our theatre series tomorrow night. The city will be dead.
Gardening and a short ride on Saturday?
Probably a long ride on Sunday, with friends.
Son #1, his gf and our friends coming over for a BBQ on Monday (after a ride).

Dinner with cycling friends on Saturday; tennis sometime on Saturday; a bike ride perhaps on Sunday and a motorcycle ride on one day this weekend as well.

I will plant my pots with some veges; already planted my vege garden on Wednesday. And Yeah, it is raining here! Very unusual for us this time of year.

I'm baking a strawberry rhubarb pie to take to the dinner party on Saturday. yum yum!

I hope to go mtn biking and maybe do some fly fishing. We are supposed to get some rain so plans may have to change. I do have to work a few hours on Monday.

My BF and I are doing day one of the Horsey Hundred, near Lexington, KY, on Saturday. We're camping with his family Saturday and Sunday nights (they're from KY) at a nearby park. I'm hoping to do day two of the Horsey, too, but without him. He's not the glutton for punishment that I am. We'll head back home on Monday.

Do you have a pet you could bring or borrow? That's the trend in my neighborhood. I saw a guy with two cats and a dog today, and he was doing very well indeed.

Dodging the rain while out in the garden. I hope I'll get to hear my son play his guitar and sing on stage tomorrow.

Laying by the pool the rest of the time

We have friends in town from Chicago, just in time for the rain. It is pouring, thundering and lightening right now and they just landed. We also have a fishing boat reserved for tomorrow. I hear the theme from Gilligan's island in the background.
