    FS: 2005 Trek 1500 WSD 47cm

I have decided to sell my road bike because I would like to get into touring and the 1500 is not a touring bike. I bought this bike brand new in late 2005 and have taken great care of it. The bike has been cleaned and serviced regularly and has been stored inside of the house year-round. The bike is used, but doesn't have many miles on it. I swapped out the tires last year to better tires: Continental Grand Prix 4000 (23X650c) and the handlebar tape is also newer. I am asking $650, but will consider offers, including trades. I am specifically looking for a Surly LHT, 42cm!

This bike is in almost new condition and rides great. I will ship to anywhere in the U.S. and will charge actual shipping (will need to figure it out based on zip code).

Here is a link to the Trek site for specs/pic.

Please PM me with any questions. Thanks!

I'm not familiar with how sizes are figured out for road bikes. Could you help me out by giving me your height?
    I'm new. Be gentle!

I'll be doing the Bike MS 150 in August

Note the operative word "around" meaning approximately; more ore less; about (etc).

Yes, thanks for clarifying that. I have been getting questions about what height I am. I am about 5'1". I think this bike would fit best for someone 4'11" (if they have at least a 27" inseam) to someone 5'3" or so. My inseam is about 27/28 and the standover height is perfect. Reach can always be adjusted with stems, but check the geometry info on Trek's website. The stem on this bike is about 80mm (if I recall), so it can go down a little bit or up a bunch! Thanks!

Anyone? I don't want to put it on Ebay, but may not have a choice. Will sell for $650 including shipping if you are in the U.S. PM me if you are interested. It is a great bike!
