If I could readily recycle a tin can and achieve the same results as that particular item i would but there is no substitute or comparison for that particular product.
    It is a unique method

The only thing unique is the way it stirs the popcorn. You could get the same effect with a tin can and a metal spatula. Then again, you could just punch holes in large tin juice cans, put some rope through them and make puddle jumpers. Or play Kick The Can. Much more fun!

Is no one picking up their dog's poop? That's what we use the bags for. When I was recovering from foot surgery and my DBF was both doing the grocery shopping and walking the pup twice a day, he decided that the dog needed to poop less often. I concluded that he just needed to shop for more groceries.

+1 My doggy has spoken for all of the plastic bags in my house. She gets so excited when I grab a bag out of the drawer as she thinks she is going on a walk.

With two big goldens and a golden puppy arriving next Saturday, our supply of Washington Post and NYT bags doesn't meet our pooch poop demands. We have to supplement with those blue bags you get at Petco.
