Don't tell a group of experienced mountain bikers that you've taken your road bike up a dirt fire road to the highest peak in the county. They'll assume you can handle more than you're letting on to...even when you tell them you have absolutely NO TECHNICAL DESCENDING SKILLS on a mountain bike.
