Eagle Cam @ norfolk botanical garden

I had gotten such a kick out of the puppycam thread that someone here shared. I spent so much time on that site watching the pups grow and go off to their new families. As of late, my SIL got me hooked watching an eagle cam. It sure is interesting. I did a search here to see if anyone posted the site, but didn't find it so I am going to post the link here:

Hope some of you will find it of interest.

The whole coastline of British Columbia does have bald-headed eagles.

Occasionally you can see one flying around high in Vancouver. There is the odd nest in tree actually here in downtown Vancouver also in a local park near the water. My partner likes to report to me nearly several times a wk., whether or not he's seen the eagle in the nest. I'm kinda of oblivious..I just ride by and don't look up.

This is a webcam pointed at several areas outside of Vancouver. If you click on the Hornby Island frame (one of the Gulf Islands near Vancouver), the eagle is around right now.

Eggs are suppose to hatch on Apr. 26th this years. http://www.hancockwildlifechannel.or...opic=cam-sites

We have a falcon cam here in San Jose. It's Clara's third year nesting on city hall, she has a new beau -- Esteban Colbert.

Thank you! Unfortunately, we lost the tree he was perched in a week later in a wind storm. Hopefully the hawk will hang out in my neighbor's trees.
