256.2. 20 pounds total lost since january. Yay. I guess. I don't really look any different and everything is sliding south in an alarming way--flying squirrel arms, for one thing--gross. I'm trying really hard to turn this into something negative, aren't I? but I've shrunk enough that I need new clothes and I'm feeling so much faster on the bike that I've moved up to a faster training group. Yay dammitt.

147 . I've kind of used the accident as an excuse to overindulge. I will continue to do so for another day, then I'll have to be very carefull with what I eat, since my excercise is limited right now.

144.5....what?! I haven't seen that since 2005! Thanks for the encouragement girls (and thanks to Dr. Chitnavis for his continued enthusiasm for blood work and lectures).
    Happy weekend ladies!

Stuck at 181. For over 10 years, I've been battling my weight problem, and I believe I've finally found a way to succeed. During my annual gyno exam, I was told about a program that has a high success rate, and I will begin that program on April 28. It's available only in my locality, but I will report my success in the next challenge. I am thrilled that there's something that really works — we'll see for sure as time goes on. Those of you who have been on this challenging road for years and years are sure to understand my excitement.

137.4. I think my body just likes 137. Doesn't seem to matter what I eat, or how much or little. Nor does it seem to matter how much or little I work out or what kind of workout it is. Always 137 point something. With the amount of muscle I have (admittedly why I weight heavy for my height), you'd think I'd be a freakin' calorie burning machine. Sigh...

I think it may be time to go in and get my fat/lean percentage tested again. It will either make me feel okay about what the 137 is made up of, or force me to make some more serious changes in my lifestyle.

Anyway, cheers to all of you. Whether you're up or down this week, I salute you. Keep at it.

    Congrats on both accounts!

When I went to my oncologist this week he kind of put it in perspective.... it does not matter what the scale says as long as you are getting healthier!
