Hiya Nanci... just going add my adulation to the current round of cheers

Lots of stories I just don't read all of, or skim quickly through

But I have actually lost count of the number of times I have read about Tar Baby Rat Fetus...

Thanks for making the effort - loved it

You are a brave woman for stopping and looking... the first time... and many times after that!

Thanks for the story Nanci... I was entertained and grossed out all at the same time!

I concur. Nanci you have talent. I think that was a great little short story. Try submitting it somewhere unless it's too private. Really it's good.

    Great Job Nanci

You do have a talent for writing! I started reading and thought "Oh, this is a long post". and then thought "Oh, this is a good post I have to read this!"

Yes, I was really drawn into the story and became emotionally invested in what happened to TBRF--poor little guy.

This kind of story is part of a definite genre--it's called Creative Non-Fiction--and it's very popular with certain magazines. You can check out possible publications to send it to in Writer's Digest--probably available at your public library. I'd definitely send it somewhere! And keep writing......

I like the idea of a Bike Lit thread, too! Whadya say, Moderators?
