perhaps a memorial plaque is needed for the spot, or at least leave some flowers or tobacco for the spirit of Tar Baby Rat Fetus? Enjoy your memories.

    Nanci,
Wow. What a great story. Really moving. But it's great because it was written so perfectly. What else do you write? If the answer is nothing, you need to change that immediately!

ROFLMAO...........Too Precious Nanci! I think you need to make a stick cross and place it there - where Tar Baby Rat Fetus lay for months, motivating you to get out and ride, inspiring you to achieve heights you had never thought possible while teaching you discpline and acceptance of the unknown. These traits should be memorialized forever in TBRFs honour! After all - it is the act that defines the man er oh...the TBRF!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

Thank you so much for the complements. I don't know where that story came from, it just kind of burst out of me after I got home that night...I don't really write, just some descriptive stuff about dives or whatever.

I still feel weird riding by there. I think a little cross would be appropriate- after all, this is _Florida_, where you can't drive half a mile without seeing a roadside memorial.
