    There's a leather anniversary?
I have so much to learn.

Okay. Well, I'm an idea person so bear with me...

A leather wristband with one of those Road ID tags.
    A GREAT leather jacket
    A great pair of boots
    A really nice belt
Something vintage - a leather reading chair?
I can do five more miles.

Smurf, when I read your post, I understood it to mean that you were looking for ideas for a gift for your friend because it was her anniversary, and you were expected to give her a gift, which I, too, thought was totally weird.

Please don't get upset because some of us misunderstood your post. It wasn't clear, especially since it followed on the wedding gift question.

I thought you were sending them a gift, too, Snap. And I thought it was odd, too. The only anniversary I remember regularly other than my own is that of my son's. But anyway...

Leather, hmmmm. I like all the ideas posted already!

    Sorry I asked.

From your wording in the first post, obviously quite a few of us thought you were being expected to give them a gift, which we all thought was bit odd.

The first thing I thought of was a Brooks saddle, but that might be a hard item to buy for someone else. Or how about a nice bike bag like a pannier or a handlebar bag or some other type, from the companies that make the gorgeous ones that combine leather and wool? I don't have one of my own, or I'd be better about remembering the name of the makers!

If he is the type that has to carry a laptop/briefcase I have seen some rather nice leather messenger bags as well.
