    My new favourite cycling snack

Veggie weiners! Thank you to my friend Dawna for introducing me to this perfect riding food!

Yup, they don't need to be refrigerated, they don't need to be cooked, and they are a great source of protein that isn't sweet! Sometimes a girl just need a chunk of meat (or meat-tasting product)

mmmmmmmmmmmm Now I always ride with an extra weiner.

    Namaste,
    ~T~

That is just kinky on too many levels for me. I think I gotta go to confession now, and I'm not even catholic!

on a more serious note: what the heck is a veggie weiner?? (besides a lazy ex husband of course )
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

yes, Corsair, there was an element of seriousness in my original post....I really do think these things are a great cycling snack!

Here's a link to the ones I bought:

Now, as far as the EXTRA weiner, goes, I guess I mentioned that because, on the last long ride I did, when we finally stopped for a snack, I was so hungry I ate my weiner and then Dawna had to share hers with me!! So it is advisable to bring 2!! I mean, I don't always ride with a friend who has a weiner to share!

Actually, it's a great tip as it's a great source of protein. I love (veggie) weiners Bit worried about them going limp in my back pocket though ...
    Right, that's it - ENOUGH!
