    My New Bike

Just wanted to share my excitement as I finally got my new bike this weekend. Its not extremely high end, but it was within my budget and most important it is the correct frame size. Isn't she beautiful?!

    GORGEOUS! I love that color.

Now, all that snow just needs to melt off of Wolf Creek Pass!!

P.S. Is that a compact double? Did you get climbing lunch plate like I have for the canyons??

Ha ha ha. Well I will definitely keep Wolf Creek as a goal. I am much heavier and more out of shape than the last time I attempted it. But even though I was the slowest, I still enjoyed the ride. Such a beautiful area.

Yes, it is indeed a compact double. They changed it to a 12x27 (whatever that means ) and said it will give me one more gear to click to when I'm climbing.

It looks tiny, is it? I love the color! My bike also has a 12-27 but I need something bigger. Once the chainrings are replaced I think I will go mountain gearing like 11-34 or something silly. I am such a hill slug.

What a beauty! (love the blue!!)

If you have any real hills over there (sorry , didn't check your location first) ask your LBS if they could switch the 27 for a 28 (12-28).. I just had my highest one switched out for a 28 and it does help!

Please, tell me we've all been imagining the Wasatch Range and the Oquirrhs (and the Utah state legislature) all this time!!! A collective halucination!
