It's a sure sign of spring when Sundial begins the weather reports! I look forward to more of them, Sundial (but I hope you don't have bad tornadoes and such, just cool clouds)

Thank Tulip, I do enjoy being the weather alertist.

    Weather forecast for the Southeast:

    Severe storms & snow ahead

Mark Avery, Lead Meteorologist, The Weather Channel
    Feb. 18, 2009 6:52 am ET
    South

Severe storms are possible across the Southeast today as a cold front moves through the region.
The primary severe threats will be damaging winds and large hail, with a few tornadoes also possible.
Gusty winds and locally heavy rainfall are also expected.
Snow may mix in with rain in the Southern Appalachians tonight.
The tail end of the front will produce rain and thunderstorms over the Florida Peninsula tomorrow, with windy conditions continuing over the Southeast.
An Alberta clipper will bring a chance of rain and snow (in the Tennessee Valley and parts of North Carolina and Virginia) to the region over the weekend, along with a reinforcing shot of colder temperatures.
Highs today will range from the 40s in northern Virginia to around 90 in Deep South Texas.
