At first I didn't realize about the "she loves hills, she loves them not..." then I howled out loud. That's funny. Just to be a crybaby, how-about some Sugoi vs LG... LG doesn't fit girls with bewbage so well IME (my humble 2cents, or $, for brand picks).

EDIT: and if you worked in part of it with yellow, some peeps would buy it just for the high viz part... tip, mute the white daisy pedals with something other than pure white... I'm always paranoid about having a sweat wet t-shirt contest while riding. HEY! Maybe the daisy could be a "Black Eyed Susan"??? Those pedals are yellow with a black center in the flower. Wild and free... simple, yet pretty. AND bonus prize... the "Susan" part would be after TE's own dear Susan Otcenas (just not the black eye part, ride safe). How's that for working a design? lol.

This is a general suggestion: Could you add lots of reflective bits to any jerseys you produce? That's my single biggest source of dissatisfaction with bike clothes -- like manufacturers don't think people might ride after sunset or something, or as if a little decorative reflective piping will actually grab drivers' attention.

Mayanorange--NICE use of the TE logo!

Well, similarities, but also differences. 1) The Tour de California wheels seem to be rolling in opposite directions , and 2) Mayanorange's wheels are the TE logo, which is already TE's and not TdC's. So should be no problem.

I think version 2 especially is a great design! I generally don't go for green, but that jersey could be an exception in my case. And are my eyes or my screen fooling me, or have you envisioned/drawn it with a metallic reflective green background? Pretty cool and very high viz if so.
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.

I'm digging Urlea's daisy design and what she did with Mimi's painting. I'd buy both of those in a heartbeat. I also like the "She rides" line a lot.

Is it possible to make more than one design? Maybe the top three?

By the way, I was just talking with D*H about this board. I told him that I really like being here because everyone is so positive and supportive, so unlike so many other online communities out there. When I read the TE forum, I leave it feeling encouraged and anxious to get back on my bike, even though I'm far from what anyone would consider athletic. You all make me feel like I can achieve my health goals, namely losing weight and getting fit enough to enjoy the second half of my life.

    Thank you all.

I was going for a non-flat green, so I gave it some mottling, but it'd be cool in metallic! I'm not married to the colors, so we could play with those. The blue is from the TE logo blue, the purple (and rider) are inspired by the 'Click to Shop' girl, as I like to think of her. Then green made sense to go with those 2, but it'd be cool in other color schemes too.

Hi Chanlluv TE got me back on a bike and back in shape. Well, TE and my sister, who got me on TE. You'll do fine too. You're in good company here. And by second half, do you mean in the "Congratulations on your first 60" sense? If so, you're not alone on the board in that age group either. F'rinstance, I'll hit 60 this summer.

Now back on topic. Those Queen Anne's Lace sketches look promising! The designer was worried that "Road Sister" would exclude trail and track sisters amongst us. How about "disguising" that in code by making the "sister" a butterfly instead. There are a whole bunch of butterfly species named [____] Sister (such as California Sister, or the Arizona Sister pictured below). One of them could be perched on a stem somewhere.

Woohoo!! More submissions. It's a good thing I'm self-employed or my boss might get annoyed by how often I check for updates. (Don't tell anyone, but I think she does a little bit anyway.)

Great new additions! It is going to be so difficult to choose!

Lime Clean design with good logo placement.

Jillm- I really like the bird jerseys & color choices.

As to the suggestions for my "She loves hills" Jersey, thank you! I reallyappreciate the input.

I pulled old image files of photographs I had taken of black-eyed susan's & sunflowers last night to see if I could design something similar with the bright yellows in there and conceptually it just didn't work for me. The text lost it's prominence amongst all the color and it looked cluttered.

As it is right now, the background green could always get brighter. Same for the blue version. I just tried to pick a happy medium for what most computer monitors are calibrated to color-wise.

Roxy- I feel the same way about this forum. There is definitely "community" and a lot of wonderful encouraging ladies.

It still makes me laugh that my husband pointed me to this site in the first place after ordering my tri-suit from it as a b-day gift. I'm so glad he did!

Limewave: I really like the Where Girl meets the Road... I'm typically jealous of men's jersies. So many of them are graphical and I like that style. I wanted to do something graphically with mine, like a poster, for instance. Yours is along the style that I've been lusting for in a jersey too.

Jillm: Your use of reflective elements is great. I bike to work sometimes in the mornings over the summer. I would totally buy something like that for those commutes. It would beat the fancy reflective vest that I've purchased. The birds are my favorite. But the tree on your last submission is really cool too, especially if the flowers are reflective.

Oh man, so many cool ideas.
