We do nice things for each other all of the time. In fact, some people think we are "sickening," because of how much time we spend together!
That said, I love Valentines Day. I think it's because my dad always made a big deal of it. He would come home with two of those giant heart shaped boxes of chocolates for me and my mom. My mom always got a piece of nice jewelry. I still have the little white hankie with red hearts I got from my dad when I was 4.
I don't care if it's commercial. I just like the day. I liked it when I was single, too.
