Am I the only female in the universe that kind of likes elastic in my jerseys?

I guess I'm out of the running, I don't even understand the directions.
I have colored pencils and a pad of paper, though

me too. I think they want a design using the colors they showed and incorporating their logo.

    Both

It would be nice to have the avaibility of elastic and non-elasitc on the bottom of the jersey. I like the hi-vis yellow too!!

While a design the incorporates the TE color scheme would be nice, it is certainly not a requirement.

The TE logos can be more of something that is applied to certain locations on the jersey - ie, chest or collar, sleeves, back pocket, etc -- they don't necessarily have to be a prominent part of the design.

If the design was of a traditional "team" jersey style, the logos would be very prominent (see the Team Terry jersey).

However, we want to be more creative than that, while still having a jersey that communicates "Team Estrogen", rather than just "that's a pretty jersey".

[[said with tongue firmly planted in cheek]] You mean I should use your logos instead of the attached "logo"?

I *LIKE* that! It'd make a great "hidden" pocket message (like the Salt shaker inside the pocket of our Hill Slug jerseys).

I love it! That should be visible somewhere on the jersey, IMO

I only like elastic waistbands on shirts if I want them to ride up around my armpits after a while.

    They said:

We recognize that not everyone has the skills to create vector artwork suitable for use as final art, so what we're looking for is something more along the lines of a concept sketch that we can then take to the designers at our jersey manufacturer to be cleaned up and turned into final art.

I think they posted the graphics info for those who can do that, but they are clearly not requiring anything more than a good concept sketch.

I have loved and been loved;I have been given much and I have given something in return...Above all, I have been a sentient being, a thinking animal, on this beautiful planet, and that in itself has been an enormous privilege and an adventure." Of course a good concept is really the hardest part in graphic design!

Well that's great news for those on TE who don't do graphic design. Sort of levels the playing field, p'raps.

And I only asked my question about the full zip from a design perspective...wanted to know if a zipper could potentially cut a design in half.

I'm pretty sure I have a jersey with a full zip that doesn't affect the design.
