I heard they were hard to clip out of, with spd pedals. Is this true? I really want some to use on my Jamis this summer.

I just bought mine at full price last fall because I was tired of waiting and wanted them so badly. I LOVE them, and it's one thing I didn't mind paying full price for (this coming from the queen of thrift store shopping- except when it comes to cycling gear
).
They are hard to clip out of with my SPD's. I do have some trouble, but I'm going to do a little trimming with the dremmel tool. I could change pedals, but I don't want to. I'm stubborn.

I didn't have any trouble clipping out of them with my spds, but I have the men's because they are wider. Wonder if that somehow makes a difference?
Hands down they are my favorite shoes. Worth every penny.Claudia

I have never had any problems clipping in or out with mine. I can't wait until the warmer weather comes back (if it ever does) to wear them again
