Thanks all.
It was a good day. I didn't want a party, I just wanted to go play in the snow. So we went to flag and I hucked my carcass down the hill in a tobagon.
It was #40- ack! So not really one to celebrate. Esp. since I have let myself go, so I find myself 40 &40. - that is years old, and overweight! oy...
It's been a rough year for me, and it doesn't look to be getting any better anytime soon. Long story short I've been diagnosed as suffering from depression. Mostly due to financial woes. Something I know a lot of people are going through. But I've lost my mojo. I haven't been on my bike in months. It's been a rough go.
So yeah, no party for me. I don't think I could even fake one at this point.
But thanks so much for the kind words. It really does feel nice to know that people out there care.

So sorry to hear that you've been having it rough. I'm glad you had a nice birthday and that you're still checking in here. Keeping you in my thoughts and hoping 2009 will be much better.
