    Tucker Cat likes flannel sheets.

Silly boy. He was taking his early mid morning snooze burrowed in the middle of the bed between the sheets. The bed was still perfectly made, except for a large lump in the middle.

My old cat (may she rest in peace!) was also know as Lumpy Kitty. She would burrow under the nicely made bed/comforter and all you saw was a lump. I have another cat now, Cooper, and he does it on occassion....and loves to do it in the heat of the summer (go figure!).

Now I'm trapped at the computer as he is asleep in my lap.

The kitty we lost in November used to do that too - we called her the "Buffalump" (her name was Buffett). It's just too adorable!

That's so cute! Eddy spends all of his time in the sink. He doesn't care how wet he gets. We call him "the mop". He's mostly Maine Coon, they seem to like water better than flannel.

My Bonnie cat buries herself under the sheets when she's scared. Guess where she is every July 4th and New Year's Eve....? She was definitely not a happy camper when I had my house reroofed either.

Our Maine Coon cat Pearl leaps into the tub just as soon as you step out from your shower and just sits there on the wet bottom of the tub. Just sits. After about 10 minutes, she jumps out and goes on her way happily with a wet tail and wet pantaloons.

    Another Maine-iac!

We just noticed 2 days ago that he's poly dactyl, another common Maine Coon trait. He's got 2 dewclaws on his front paws. I cut nails all the time, but didn't notice. Now dbf is telling everyone we have a pterodactyl . He cracks me up.

Our Petey likes to help out in the kitchen. He's polydactyl, too, and likes to sit in any sink wet or dry.

I can never forget the startle of bathtime reverie at my cousin's interrupted by the splashdown (or was it a pounce?) of a 25 pound Maine Coon Cat joining me in the tub.
