Hi....
My name is Flybye and I really like food. Lots of different kinds. Lots of it.
I was doing great this summer - down to a weight that I was happy with - I was about 5#'s above my goal weight. Anyhow, I started back to school full time in the Master's in Counseling program and I have really slacked on healthy food preparation. Add Thanksgiving and now Christmas - and I really have put on some winter chub. My pants are tight. I am grumpy. I don't feel great about my choices.
So.
Enough whining.
Enough reaching for the foods on the NO NO list.
What I need is a partner, someone to help with accountability. Someone who wants me to keep them accountable as well.
We can exchange emails daily or every other day - I want to set a goal and weigh twice weekly.
Is there someone who would be willing to be an accountability partner with me? If so, send me a pm.
If there are others of you out there who want to find someone to pair up with, add yourself to this thread.
Hope this works our for others than just myself.
Thanks-
Too heavy to Flybye![]()

We have a November/December Weight Loss thread going right now. We track (and post) our progress weekly. It's helped keep me accountable, for sure. I'm positive we'll continue on and do a January/February challenge too. Want to join us?
I got on the scale this morning and noticed that there was a problem and the earth's gravitational pull had increased...

Hey, we must have the same gravitational pull!I got on the scale this morning and noticed that there was a problem and the earth's gravitational pull had increased...
That extra 5 lbs keeps following me around.![]()

I thought it was just the high altitude. Bummer. I am in.
Maybe I should be in, too.
As I read your thread start, I realized I could have written it!
Actually accounting for my food choices would be the biggest help. Don't know if I can keep up but I'm willing to try.

Darn it! No more 6 Pop Tarts/day. Silver, please stop buying Pop Tarts...they're bad for the kids![]()

Mr. Silver, buy the Fiber One poptarts instead. Toasted, they taste just as good as the ordinary ones - actually, the fruit filling tastes a bit more natural, and with a bunch of fiber. Still plenty o' calories, but just slightly not-so-bad for you!
For 3 days, I get to part of a thousand other journeys.
They are good! I was thrilled to see that they came in frosted blueberry which is my only poptart weakness. And surprisingly, unless I'm on a rampage, one is plenty. I think they are more filling/satisfying than their 'real' counterparts!
Yes, still processed. Yes, still not exactly the BEST choice....but in a pinch, they'll do.![]()

OK, I'm dressed to go huntin' for a FiberOne Pop Tart!
Hmmm...I think I wore this same outfit on my TimTam hunt! I guess I've come a long way from TimTams to FiberOne Pop Tarts!

I am afraid of the earth's gravitational pull. I REFUSE to step on scale until Jan. 1st. I'll face the music then! I also think if I pack on the pounds now--I'll get a jump start on my weight loss. I'll actually lose more weight!
OK, very sick way of thinking, I know!
