(((Brandi))) Your post has me laughing away in my cubicle. Sorry you are stressed, I was just thinking about days I have felt the same. Thanks for saving the poor neglected kitty from his twig face! Deep breath, big glass of wine, you definitely earned a break!

You are a very important to that kitty, to your niece, and to your sister. And don't forget about yourself!

Hey maybe your niece can give you a mani-pedi!

Well bless your heart, Brandi. Thank you for opening your heart to the kitty in need. I believe you will be repaid four fold for being a Good Samaritan. Sending you a big hug and continued prayers for your neice.

Brandi, I think you have another cat...just sayin'.

Things will calm down. Maybe you and niece could go get pedicures together -- might be a fun thing, and a treat for your stressed out self.

I think you have another cat too! I wouldn't bother yelling at the neighbor....if they let the cat get that sick then yelling will do no good and will just get your blood pressure up.
Instead let the cat choose who it wants to live with. Obviously it is a smart cat who chose YOU already!
Sure whoooooop it up over the holidays. You deserve it!!!!!

Brandi: You just have so much going on and yet you still took the time to care for that poor kitty. What a gal. That kitty will be so much more comfortable and happier because of you. Thank you.

Hang in there -- Karma can be slow sometimes, but I know yours (and your family's) is coming. Blessings to you all.

I agree with everyone else, karma will sort itself out, and I think you should save that poor kitty!

My parents used to live next door to these people who kept cats but never took care of them. One day a young female got hit by a car. What does the neighbour do? comes knocking on my parents' door and expects my mother to take her to the vet! She did, of course, and paid for all the expenses to boot. The cat was treated and released and they didn't even so much as say thank you!! the poor kitty eventually disappeared

So I think you should keep that kitty!

Brandi - You are a good soul. Sounds like you're handling all the stress well and are keeping a good sense of humor. I agree w/Tulip--make sure you take care of yourself! Sending a lot of good karma your way. All the kindness you've shown others---including kitties---will come back to you.
