Ok, so they were all just yippng and fighting in a little pile. Then the human mom said "eh eh, careful" and they all immediately rolled onto their stomachs and looked at here. And now they are just ignoring each other. Obviously this human mom is really really on top of things! Amaaaaazing.

Here's the link to the NPR bit this morning on the dogs.

Hmmmm...It seems that the human just took out the big foam and fleece dog bed. so now all 6 puppies are "dog-piled" and trying to sleep in the wire kennel. I wonder when their new families will take them away? Tokie

I think that was just for cleaning purposes.
Notice all the pee-pee pads are gone.

I think the first pups are going to their new homes this weekend. 8 weeks is about right, my first corgi came home at 8 weeks, Chloe came home at 12 weeks.

The dreaded warning... this coming weekend (Dec 6-7th) will be when the first couple of pups will be heading off to their new homes. Yes, it has been and will continue to be really hard for us to let each pup go but we're confident that they are going to extremely loving and caring homes.

We'll be arranging at keast a yearly meet-up (if not more) with the pups that will be going to homes in California. We'll have to post a link to where everyone can go to get updates, progress and pictures on the litter as they grow.

It appears that all six puppies have stuffed themselves into the crate.

Saturday night....and the pups are still there!

Well, I thought the new owners would have their puppies at home tonight, but the human is playing with them - all 6. They seem quite well housebroken! and starting to try to get out of their "puppy pen". So cute! I wake up every morning in a (both rescue pets) poodle dogpile. Sammie sleeps near our feet - he's beagle sized. And Lucy - the size of a whippet (or our "sub-standard" poodle!) sneaks up at about 3 am when we are too asleep to notice, so we wake up a bit crowded at 5 am! It's funny when you see the pups have both a foam bed and the wire crate, and they choose the crate 6 pup dogpile. And I love the new work "puppalicious" Tuckerville! They are! Tokie

Well, the Puppy-Cam is no more! When I go to the site tonight, there is a weird blinking log-in page. Until last night, there were still 3 pups. I was looking at it at work on Monday with one of the docs when a puppy got right into the camera lens - lick,nudge,nuzzle....then the camera got puppied straight up to the ceiling! It was funny! I think it's a different shiba cam now. I got the same blinking weird password message at the original site. But try this, Tokie--

    Oooo, happiness!

    Those are the same dogs.
They were infants before, sleeping all the time. Now they're toddlers

I am so addicted to the puppies. I'll be glad when the puppy cam is over so I can get some work done! They are soooooooooooo cute. And they just chew and chew and chew and chew and chew. How can these puppies ever go into the real world? They would have a field day in my house - all the furniture and carpets would be toast in a week! LOL

odd - that link in the 1st msg in this thread has gone weird, but this one works.
