How wonderful. So if our boobage area is just like yours, no problem. And for those of us (uh, just me) with a decided lack of boobage in that area, how will the jerseys look?

The other body model has less boobage and they've been making sure it looks good on her and stays a little tight on me. They actually consider her more the norm. The other model's figure - think Jo about 10 pounds back.

    Ack! Ack!

    I can't decide what size to order..........waaaaaah!

Do I order based on the 20 pounds I plan on losing, or based on my puffy not-ready-for-lycra middle.

sadiekate-what is the waist like on the womens club cut? Maybe I should order a mens - more straight up 'n down - I've never had much of a waist, even at my skinniest (98 lbs, no kidding!)

    Insecure snap

addendum: And how the heck do you decide arm warmer size???????

running for a paper bag to breathe into now.........

Thanks Snap! I feel your pain! Now you've got me freaking out! I ordered a jersey to fit me now ('cause after much back and forth I decided that I don't want to wait to wear it!) but now you remind me I won't have one to wear when I'm ready for the lifecycle (hopefully 30 or 40 pounds from now) Can I afford another $79??? Are we at $62 yet? Only a few hours before I have to place a final PayPal order, right? And I wavered on the arm warmers too, because I couldn't decide what to do about the size question... I'm out of town, but I'll try to check the posting before I go to bed tonight and make a final decision...

OK, after tearing through all my jerseys, I discovered I have a Voler jersey! Yay! It's too small right now. Yay! Who cares, it's a mens club cut and I like it, so I'm ordering that. Then I'll hang it up on the closet door as incentive to stick to the dang diet!!!

Still don't know wtf about the arm warmers tho...

I hemmed and hawed about size a good bit too. I was on the cusp between the Large and X-Large. Would have been definitely an X-large last year 20 pounds ago. Will never lose the broad shoulders though. But I bit the bullet and went for just the Large. Even back before babies and in excellent BMI range I was never smaller than a 12. Not tall - just a broad BROAD!

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who had a big debate.

Ditto on the debate, I'm pretty sure the 3X I ordered will be a bit big but I didn't want anything clingy (no sense enhancing the "michelin man" look ). I'm wondering though...can a jersey be taken-in?? I can't sew on a button but I know a good seamstress.

I think you resolved your dilemna but I just looked at my women's Race Cut Voler jersey. The waist is tapered in just a tid bit and the club cut will be the same. It is the hips that were made a bit more spacious.l

OK, I'll make some measurements on arm warmers and post.

    Arm warmer sizing

Lying flat on the table, the width of the top/bicep end and then the lentgth:

    XS - 4 1/8" wide and 17" long
    S - 4 1/2" and 17 1/4"
    M - 5" and 18 1/8"
    L - 5 3/8" and 18 3/8"
    XL - 6 and 18 3/8"

The fabric is a nice thick lycra with a fuzzy interior. Should be really nice for the coming colder weather.

Sorry about the delayed response. Been out riding . . .

Arm warmers haven't been designed yet but will match the jersey and have the team name on them.

If we can't get the minimum order, the red of the jersey is the same red Voler uses for their standard plain arm warmers on www.velowear.com.

With sleeveless, I think they'll look like evening gloves. You can just be the Audrey Hepburn of the mtbike trails.

You would look Marvahlous dahlink.....simply marvahlous!!

(I wear arm warmers and sleeveless in the fall here a lot where the lows are in the upper 50s, lower 60s but the highs are still up the 90s)

    Order Is In!

sadiekate turned in our order today, I put down 50% payment, the rest will get paid when the jerseys are delivered. WooHoo! We did not make the minimum for armwarmers, so I'll be figuring out refunds for all who sent money. Yellow - I'm going to tear up the separate check you sent.

Now the waiting begins....... ***tapping fingers***
