You do have a talent for writing! I started reading and thought "Oh, this is a long post". and then thought "Oh, this is a good post I have to read this!"
Yes, I was really drawn into the story and became emotionally invested in what happened to TBRF--poor little guy.
This kind of story is part of a definite genre--it's called Creative Non-Fiction--and it's very popular with certain magazines. You can check out possible publications to send it to in Writer's Digest--probably available at your public library. I'd definitely send it somewhere! And keep writing......
I like the idea of a Bike Lit thread, too! Whadya say, Moderators?

Long live TBRF
This is a great story! I enjoyed it as much the second time as I did the first.![]()
Perhaps it will bring Nanci back to TE
For 3 days, I get to part of a thousand other journeys.
I really miss Nanci.
Tis better to wear out than to rust out....
I miss her too....
And yep - a great story to re-read.
Most days in life don't stand out, But life's about those days that will...
It's like fine wine. Something so touching about it, and so mysterious.
I like to dig it up again every couple of years or so.![]()
