P.S. BTW, mine was Piet Mondrian's Broadway Boogie Woogie.
Sorry the connection was the beard.. Grizzly Adams was known for the beard and Santa/Sandy Claws has a beard. I almost went with the members of ZZ Top.. (who have long beards)

Neneh Cherry did a remake of Frank's I Got You Under My Skin as part of a fundraiser for Aids awareness in the 90's.

    hmm

I'm going to have to Google George Washington as i have no idea what the link is between the cherries on the card & him?

(if you post a pic about american culture, perhaps a link would assist those of us who are pretty clueless about quite a bit of stuff in the US..)

CC, just for you, the legend of George Washington and the cherry tree.

    http://www.apples4theteacher.com/hol...erry-tree.html

I'm sure it is not taught as fact in schools anymore like it was to me, but it is still an ingrained part of our national folklore.

By the way, I just read in a magazine that they have finally found the remains of his original home on Ferry Farm, which should help tell more about him before he was a youngster.
