My dad was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (bone marrow cancer) at the beginning of last summer, which is when I started riding. It's been a lot of ups and downs. I think that the most important thing through all of this is going to be your attitude. A positive attitude will make all the difference in the world. And naturally your going to want to do a lot of riding for that is what contributes to our attitudes and it is going to be a much needed stress relief. My bike has been my best friend this year. Vent to the bike and it will listen. Trust me.
