Or just use regular shoes and old fashioned platform pedals.

What kind of shoes/pedals do you have?

When I had road shoes/Looks, I was constantly doing the duck walk/tap dance/stutter step when I had to take more than two steps off the bike.

SPDs/Specialized mountain shoes = much, much better for non-bike use!
I'll get back on the bike soon, I promise!

I'm getting new pedals as soon as I find shoes I can afford and walk in. I think my current ones are technically mountainbike shoes..they are sixsixone something or other. I bought them before I really started getting into this. Anyway, i'll get there slowly but surely.
Oh, and after riding Quinn today, I get why bike shorts are a necessity...I'll be getting some of those too. Maybe if I buy them when it starts to get cold I could find some on sale.
