It happened to me too. There were times I'd go for a short run and think it should be easy and things would hurt. I'd think that there is no way I could ever be crazy enough to think I could run a marathon! I think I over-analyzed and put too much expectation out there.

I am going for (I think) a five-ish mile run today. I am supposed to take it easy this week, I read I should aim for about 1/4 of my pre-marathon training distances as a weekly goal. Um...10 miles then? So I am doing two runs of 2.5 miles and one of 5 miles this week. Hopefully, DH and I will get out on the bikes maybe too. Am already scoping out races for next spring
