Hi momonbike . . . hey your link does not work. I tried to visit but it says it's not there.
We have a website. I don't think of it as a blog, although I suppose it is. We don't allow comments. It's mostly a place for us to post photos and write ups about things we care about; so our families, who are mainly on the East coast, can see what we're doing.

Okay, so it should be

Sorry. Hope that works!![]()
I started my blog in the beginning of August. Mostly it was a way to keep myself focused while training for my first tri. But also, I have alarge family that is spread across the country, many of them send daily "family emails", but I like the blogs because we can add pictures and it's accessable to every one. I love getting comments!
You're invited to visit my blog: http://tris3kidsandlife.blogspot.com/
I know I'm two months late replying to this,but here I am!
* I started a bike blog last March and I do post in it regularly.
* I usually get about 20-30 unique hits per day.
* It is a cycling blog - some real info, most personal.
* I love getting comments.
The thing about comments is that I know people come to my blog regularly. It's nice to see what they think and I really like provoking people to discuss things. Very few people actually comment, though. Even with the Fat Cyclist getting 1800 hits per day, or whatever, he probably averages 40-50 comments per day, with the very occasional 300 comment day.
I got a really nice comment the other day. It wasn't left in my blog. It was a private message at another cycling forum I frequent (I check the TE forum only once in a while).
It's funny. I've had so many people say that I should myspace or facebook, but I don't need to. I've got my own web site and I added the blog this last year. With the blog, it is now easy to get a hold of me.
Another thing about my blog (or anyone's blog) is that it is my artistic outlet. I like to post a lot of my photography on it. I think I'm also becoming a better writer because I do it so much. I look at the world differently because it is more than just life going by, but possible topics to write about.![]()
I'm still blogging for a living - but not cycling-related at all. Although, I'll throw in a bicycle comment whenever appropriate. I would love to get my numbers up, so click away!
