Hey crew, I know some other people must be racing too so let's hear about it.
I had a sprint tri this AM. I wasn't into it too much as I just put this on my schedule to round out my season. It was not an A race but....
Swim: 800 m 13 min and change
T1: just under 3 min, there was a huge run from the beach to the transition
Bike: 38 and change on a hilly course (12.5 miles)
T2: 1:50 ish and uneventful
Run:23 and change and hilly.
Overall time was 1:20 and change.
4th overall place and first in AG. Yipppppppeeeeeee. It's my first gold this year. And to think I was almost not going to bother.
3rd place overall was 5 min faster than me. Wow.
Now to taper for my endurance cycling race next weekend.

Wahine: I'm very late to this, but congrats on yet another great race. I'm in awe of the transition times - -you obviously have done this a lot. I REALLY need to work on those this year! Can't wait to hear how the bike race goes!
