Years ago (close to ten years, I think) I bought a Colorforms ad from the 1960's that had been pulled out of a magazine. I think I also bought a Slinky ad from roughly the same era. I had them framed for display in my office. I then lost them when I moved to Seattle. *sigh*

I like somewhat 'eerie' antique dolls.
Here are two that I am currently selling:

I used to keep tarantulas but not anymore.

Did you get the tarantulas from EBay?

    That would be strange.

Four oompa loompa wigs for our Willy Wonka themed prom in May. I have purchased a few gag gifts out of the weird and strange category, but I don't remember what they were.

If I bothered with a tree that would be the tree.
When I was a kid my Uncle Claude had one of those and a rotating color light wheel to light it.

Uncle Claude was pretty cool in my book.

No I don't shop/sell on ebay at all. We are seriously running out of living and storage space at home. Nowadays when I buy new book (average only 1 per month now) or magazine, it is noticeable where we are.

My childhood Christmas memories are of a silver aluminum Christmas tree...it would shed abit each time in its fake way.

What do you do with the childcraft encyclopediae?

I'm decluttering as the remodel winds down. Recently I Craigs'isted a box full of nails and a kick plate-the single strip of wood at the base of cabinet.

Also Craigs'd (is that a word?) a sewing machine table a neighbor threw out which was actually kinda nice. I could have re-finished that but just no room. The gal who picked up the table was very happy.

I was surprised that anyone would want nails but that went to a gal who's starting the remodel adventure.
