LOVE my new Jamis...

I was thinking something powerful yet feminine - all I can come up with is Jamie, because I wanted nothing more as a kid than to BE the Bionic Woman (you know, run faster, jump higher, throw people across rooms...). However, Jamie isn't all that inspiring. Like Xena, Warrior Princess, or something like that. That is just too over the top. Any ideas, oh creative TE friends?

How about Jeanne d'Arc, or Joan of Arc if you are more inclined towards the English? At least it keeps the J intact. Jammin' Joan the Jamis. or something. I have a Jamis, too, but I just call it The Jamis. Highly uncreative, but it gets the job done.

As for bikes made in the US, there are quite a few small framebuilders, so the next time you want a US-made bike, go custom. Luna, Gunnar, Waterford, Vanilla, Sweat Pea, Bike Friday, Rivendell, and many others that I don't know about...
