that's my sister's fav too and she just noted that sunday.

I noticed one day during cyclism sundays, and then heard paul again sunday, say a word that we've always said was "pittsburghese", though my canadian mother said it too but she grew up in a town that in the 1800s was populated by pittsburgh steel workers. anywho - the word is "slippy" which is pittsburgh for slippery. i think my sister thought i imagined paul saying it, but then she heard him say it on sunday and we all cracked up.

My favorite is "oh the carnage"...when the pelaton is all broken up to a hard climb. I say that when I am climbing...

As for "call of nature"--I believe that have many other terms for that..."natural break" and somethign else.

Yep, tape teh tour to listen to Paul & Phil....can't stand the re-cap on prime time....Bobke is ok...but how is this Craig guy...he can't say anyone's name correctly!

I can't resist telling hubby that I'm in a spot of bother on nearly every ride. I don't think he's as amused as I am.

    That's hysterical!

I spent much of the Death Ride "trying to get just that little bit more aerodynamic".....

I was so aware of all their little phrases last night... They called the chasing group "marauders" and said something about them being on a raid. They also kept talking about the "rarified air" at the high altitude.
