Way to go everyone! It's fun to see you all working at this!
For my part, here are the results:

    1st week - 130
    2nd week - 131
    today - 129.5
So I really only have lost .5 lbs in 2 weeks, but that's cool. It's the progress that counts.

I rode 105 miles this week, with a 6 mile hike on monday and yesterday did 30mn aerobic with abs as my rest day. Felt good to cross train.
As a note, I have a big ride of 70 miles coming up on August 2, so I've been training for it. It's a community supported ride, should be fun and melt those pounds.

Oh, and as a reminder, for those of us who don't see pounds drop fast enough but exercise lots, remember that muscle weighs more than fat, but takes less volume, so cheers to that.

You had that mostly right, Sindyeli

Muscle is denser than fat, so like you said, a pound of muscle takes up less volume than a pound of fat. Or, putting it another way, a cupful of muscle will weight more than a cupful of fat. (Sorry to get all didactic on you, but I always cringe when people say that muscle weights more than fat. I know you know what you mean, but I'm anal. )

So hopefully my lardbutt will eventually turn into musclebutt ...

In the meantime, I lost a pound this week, down from 154 to 153, woo-woo!

I was afraid that this week I would gain back the weight I lost so quickly last week on SB phase I, but that didn't happen so I'm really glad. And 1 pound a week is much saner than 5 pounds.

I might have lost a pound this week, but it's been so hot I've tried to get enough fluid, but it doesn't help when some of that is microbrew!

I've been on Phase 1 since Monday, so not quite a full week and I'm down a tad more than 3 lbs! Woohoo!

    164.1 this week.

Starting today, I'm starting to add fruits back in. I've got a very physical day planned for today and tomorrow, so I need my strength! Sunday we hope to take our first pleasure ride in MONTHS.

Jobob - I'm the same way. If you hadn't felt the need to say that, I probably would have!

Today's weight 167 which is up a little but totally expected after a soccer weekend in Seattle. I didn't go crazy with the food but didn't make great choices either

88 miles on the bike. No soccer for 5 weeks so I'll be able to make the Saturday rides and push that number up.

    Have a great weekend everyone!

    I don't know what I weigh

Started to weeks ago at 120.8...the was way down by 2 pounds in one week. Didn't beleive it, sure enough few ays later back up 120.xx...been steadily going down this past week...as low as 119 yesterday...then doay 119.6! But overall that is more realistic...1 pound in 2 weeks. So let's just hope it keeps heading down.

So log 119.6 for this wiegh in.

Eating: not bad, tried to not overeat or drink.
Training: this week was lighter than last, but overall sticking to the plan. Have workouts scheduled for both days on weekend.

    Am I too Late???

    Hi Ladies.

Am I too late to join?? I'd love to participate if that's ok. I broke my foot in May and have been off crutches since mid-June. I got back in the saddle right away, but I can really use some help focusing on some goals. I can never seem to break the 130lb mark, but have just got myself down to 129 .... my goal is to be 125, but to add a lot of strength/muscle between here and there ...

I forgot to weigh yesterday morning so I weighed this morning when I got up. I weighed 138.6, so at least I dropped that extra I put on last week. That had to have been water retention, but thank goodness it's gone. LOL

142.3 this morning... though I forgot to weigh myself until after I ate breakfast. So I'm not losing, but I'm not gaining either.
    Good news though:
    - Did 15 miles on Saturday, which is the most I've done at once since I started riding just a few months ago.
    - Wore a pair of size 6 shorts today that were a bit too small just 2 weeks ago!
    - Put on a dress that I haven't worn in a year, and it practically fell off me! I'm down about 13lbs from this time last year.

Focus on the positives everyone and keep it up!
Somewhere behind the athlete you've become and the hours of practice and the coaches who have pushed you...is a little girl who fell in love and never looked back... do it for her.

    138.8 as of this morning.

    Exercise has been consistent, though.
