Of our parents, only one (my dad) wasn't born in the area we live. My Dad's adoptive parents were both born here. When they adopted my dad in 1960 he moved here and never left. My Nanny and my husband's grandmas graduated from the same high school. My mom and I were born in the same delivery room. My husband was born at a different local hospital. Our roots run so deep here I wonder how to pull them up.

I never even changed schools due to a move, only boundary changes or moving up to the next type.
