I feel a little guilty because I'm not doing much swimming. But I know my swim will not get tremendously faster. Maybe, if I really pushed it and trained hard for several months, I could get it down to 24. So for me, it makes sense to really focus on getting the run faster.
Next season I'd really like to be doing 10 minute miles for this distance. I'm getting close when I just go out and run for 4 miles. But that is SO MUCH easier than doing it after a swim and a bike.I just keep reminding myself, "Look how far you have come since April," because sometimes it does seem a little overwhelming.
