For a moment yesterday (just the briefest of moments, mind you), I considered not riding so I could SAG DH. But, I start dreaming about this ride the day after the previous one ends -- didn't think I had it in me to give it up.

HooiserGiant - can we park on cars on campus Friday without any problems? I would love to leave my car there if at all possible. Do I need a special permit? I would hate for it to be ticketed or towed.

I was thinking that near the fieldhouse was acceptable...but it's not clear from the website if that is on Saturday or includes Friday as well.

Remember showers are available at the athletic facility. We'll also be glad to ship your Terre Haute stuff back to you.

I called Earlham today and the person in Public Safety told me to park in the overnight lot near Carpenter Hall. Time to pull up their map and see where that is in relationship to the fieldhouse.

I have my overnight bag issue worked out and plan on leaving a change of clothes and shower bag in my car. Once I clean up it will be time to hit the road and head home.

We've seen info regarding this for past years, but can't locate anything that specifically addresses this for the current ride. Have left a message with the ride director and e-mailed, but no response as of yet.

I think I'm going to have to pass. I think we're driving to Terre Haute around 4ish but so much of this is out of my control that I'd hate to commit to anything. I'll look for you--those of you whom I already know at least--at the Drury though. And on the road, of course.

    Have a great time!

I know you talked to personnel at Earlham; this is just confirmation of that info. Joe Anderson, RAIN Director, also says to park in the Carpenter Hall lot (far northwest corner of campus along US 40) and leave a note on the dash that you're participating in RAIN.
