He is adorable! Love the name.
I grew up with a little boy Golden named, Sneaker.
I got him when I was 5 and he lived 13 years. He was a great friend and still think about him often!
Your boys are going to grow up and have a constant companion for many years to come! I am jealous of the adventures that await them!
Enjoy the puppy days - much like kids they get big too fast!

    You just NAILED it!

I have a golden mix, and she got the best parts of the golden, and the worst part of a terrier (digging!).

    Whee is her middle name.

And, how awful is it that as soon as I saw the title of this thread, I HAD to click on it, and QUICKLY! lol.

Fergus is soo cute. Then again we are not biased. All of our golden's have gotten along quite fine with the cats. Occasionally, he does get swatted by the cats not to mention, he cleans up after them. Cleaning out the cat food bowl of any remaining cat food. One big lick and its wiped clean.

They are so sweet and good natured, the boys will really enjoy Fergus. Like to see more pic of him/her.

Congratulation on your new family member.

Aw. Leslie, he's so adorable!! What a great friend to your boys! But you can only take him in your bike basket if you get him a helmet!

    Thanks everyone!!
Nic840 - I am pleased to know so many people have had great experiences with Goldens in their childhood. Sneaker, what a great name.
Hmm perhaps Fergus should have been called that as he seems to have become very attached to my boy's sneakers.

Kim - LOL - hey an Aussie can't host a NZ trip that would be unpatriotic.
Perhaps we can con dirtdiva into being our host.

Adore Goldens. Had to call my daughter over to see pictures of Fergus. We had to put our beautiful golden down in November, Fergus just made my heart smile. Congratulations! Your boys will have a million memories...

I LOVE goldens! And he is just too adorable. Have fun with him! Oh... it makes me want a new pup!

I used to get my fill of puppiness at work, but since moving to emergency only, I don't see a lot of them (thank goodness) and when I do, they are quite sick.

I miss that puppy breath fix I used to get several times a week!

My 10 yr old lab's breath just isn't the same, but I do love her dearly!

ENJOY MR. FERGUS! Give him a squeeze for me!
