The rocks and the roots poop us out too on the Canal. Doing 20 miles last year on it was exhausting!

You rode the Performance bike?
i should try that one out on the canal. I like it on the road (but I like my Trek better

Yeah, I did. It's kinda nice with the options of shocks but yes, we took the hybrids on the Canal. Part of the reason we got hybrids in the first place. Oh yes, I would imagine the Trek would be a nicer ride. I'm glad that you have taken the Nomad for a spin.
