Yeah. Us furriners tend to receive things a bit late. Then too, the folks who get us as their SS have to spend more on postage. Costs more, takes longer. Kind of a drag on both ends.

I don't know who mine is yet, either, cuz the domestic postal gremlins appear to have gotten at mine, too.

    Smile Thanks!

To Makbike-- Thank you so much for the package full of goodies! It was like being on a treasure hunt as I dug through the box. I love everything from the pink socks to the honey, appple cider, tea, sunblock, water bottle, lip balm, etc. Too many items to list. But I have to mention the Kentucky Derby glass. It is so neat.

I got my SS package yesterday and it was filled with lots of fun summer goodies (thanks wannaduacentury).

My bike has pink and orange on it so the socks, waterbottle, and scarf are great matches with it.

I had to laugh about the sunscreen - I used the one in my bike bag a few weeks ago and got burned. I later noticed the expiration date was over a year ago and it was only SPF15 so a new one was really needed.

We were batting around the beach ball and listening to some tunes in the office this morning. Anything to break up the day.

I always end up carrying my change of clothes for after my group rides in a plastic shoppping bag. The cute bag you sent will be perfect for that.

Thanks for everything and have a great summer.

    Note to May Participants

Please PM me if you have not yet mailed your box to your SS or you have not yet received a box.

Note to Duck on wheels - your box was mailed to the California address you provided so if you are not yet there hopefully it is waiting for you when you do arrive.

    Thanks!

Oh, cool! That explains one of the mystery packages my Mom was wondering about We couldn't figure out why one more package had arrived than what we'd ordered from here 'n there (TE, Ibex, LandsEnd, etc.). I fly over on Friday. Can hardly wait to see what's waiting there. Besides my new-to-me Bike Friday, that is. WooHoo!

BM & Tater..thanks but I am starting to feel quite guilty about having folks send me fig newtons, lara bars, clif bloks etc..

I don't want to make a nuicance of myself (that's the proper way to say that, ya?)

Who cares about being a nuisance! We offered! Just keep us in mind, then.

Thank you, thank you, not so very secret sister Brandi! That is indeed a very special, and very summery T-shirt! I wonder if people will expect me to be able to sculpt fantastic things in sand if (when) I wear it at the beach. I'm afraid they'll be disappointed if they do, although I'm pretty good and snow-sculpting.

The straws are soooo cute! I think they go with me on the family picnic and bike ride Sunday. TE'ers also welcome. It's a pretty open-ended event, I gather (right, Trek?) at Rosie the Riveter Park (Richmond end of the Bay Trail).

And chocolate, of course Always a hit!
