That's true, it is. It's impossible to find a summer weekend that doesn't have *something* going on, though. And there aren't any big organized rides that weekend that would draw away the recreational cyclists, so in the end, we picked the 28th & 29th.
But hey, if it turns out to be a successful weekend, we'll do it again next year.
